Lush moves.
Natural places.

Put Lush on a vocal, drum bus or synth when the tail should join the arrangement. Natural sets the same sources in a stable acoustic field.

The switch changes the reverb architecture. Six controls cover timing and scale, then length and colour; movement and balance complete the row. Echo Into Space adds tempo-aware repeats before the reverb.

02 The workflow

Pick the tail you need.

Choose Lush or Natural, set Size and Decay, then balance Tone and Mix. Echo Into Space sits before the reverb. The target is a useful result in less than 20 seconds.

03 One complete product

The complete effect is on one screen.

Voltage Spaces puts both reverb characters and each shaping control in one product. Echo Into Space sits beside the preset browser and A/B comparison.

Two engines · six controls · echo into space

The Lush and Natural engines share six reverb controls. Echo Into Space sits above the preset library; A/B comparison uses those same parameters.

  • Lush and Natural, chosen by a two-position switch
  • Pre-delay, Size, Decay, Tone, Motion and Mix
  • Tempo-aware echo that feeds the reverb
  • Wide and compact arrangements of the same controls

04 Character before feature count

Hear what the switch changes.

Lush makes the reverb part of the sound. Natural places the source in a space and gets out of the way. Both are honest about placement: a mono source stays exactly mono, and a hard-panned source still opens the whole space.

L / 01

LUSH

Modulated and wide

An 8-channel tank keeps the late field moving, with a broad stereo image and a soft onset. It suits a vocal bus or snare, and it can carry a synth pad when the tail should count as part of the arrangement.

  • Motion controls depth and rate together
  • The movement continues through the tail
  • Long settings stay deliberately audible
N / 02

NATURAL

Dense placement

A 16-line feedback network follows an independent early-reflection generator. Its late field uses shallow variation rather than a repeating chorus cycle, which keeps the centre image steady on piano and strings as well as dialogue or other acoustic sources.

  • Early reflections establish distance
  • The stereo image holds still under long decay
  • Short rooms build density quickly

05 Echo before reverb

The echoes arrive first.

Echo Into Space feeds stereo repeats into the selected reverb. The dry wet-path feed continues alongside them, so Time remains a rhythmic choice rather than another pre-delay control.

On starts the section. Time reaches 1500 ms in free mode or steps through synced divisions; Echo sets the repeat train, and Stereo moves it across the channels.

06 The focused control surface

Six controls cover the useful range.

The main row covers six jobs. Onset and scale come first, followed by length and colour; movement and balance complete the row. Their ranges stay the same when the interface changes shape.

Fits the session

The panel follows the window.

The default 16:9 view puts the six knobs in one row. A narrow window uses a compact column and keeps the control order intact.

Same parameters. Same sound.

01

PRE-DELAY

0 to 250 ms between the source and the start of the reverb.

02

SIZE

Sets apparent scale.

03

DECAY

The dial reads 0.3 to 20.0 seconds. Those values are checked against rendered audio at 6 sample rates.

04

TONE

Dark at the left. Open at the right. The centre is a voiced setting rather than a flat bypass.

05

MOTION

On Lush it brings modulation forward; on Natural it applies subtler variation to the late field while the stereo placement stays steady.

06

MIX

Constant-power balance, 0 to 100%.

07 Session behaviour

The session gets the same result back.

Recall is deterministic across irregular buffer sizes. Reported latency is 0 samples.

RECALL

Buffer splits do not alter the render.

The same input and state produce the same samples through both engines and the echo.

AUTOMATION

Engine changes preserve the ringing tail.

Parameter smoothing covers continuous moves. Moderate Size automation reshapes the space in place, while the transition manager lets the previous engine finish after the switch.

REAL-TIME

Memory is prepared before playback.

The audio path allocates 0 bytes and takes 0 locks once processing starts.

NETWORKS

The algorithms are original.

Reference captures provide measurement corridors for development. They do not supply delay lengths, parameter laws or product identity.

See the measurements

The proof page gives the test scope and tolerance. It also states the current limits for recall and the Decay dial, plus the engine measurements.
